By accessing or using Telltale at telltale-ai.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, do not use the Service.
Telltale is an AI-generated text detection tool. It analyses text submitted by users and returns an assessment of whether the text exhibits patterns commonly associated with AI-generated writing.
Telltale's analysis is probabilistic and based on pattern detection. It does not provide proof of authorship. Results should not be used as the sole basis for decisions affecting individuals (e.g. academic discipline, employment, defamation claims). Human writers can produce text that triggers AI patterns; AI tools can produce text that evades detection. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of any specific result.
The Service offers a free tier with daily usage limits and a Pro tier (Telltale Pro) with expanded limits and no advertisements. Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly or yearly.
You agree not to:
If you create a Pro account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
The Service, its design, code, branding, and underlying methodology are owned by Telltale. The text you submit remains yours. We claim no ownership over user-submitted content.
The Service uses third-party processors (Anthropic, Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Google AdSense). Your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or our business interests.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Telltale shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email to Pro subscribers.
